The Challenge
Needed to update the backlink landing page’s look and feel while leaning on functionality rather than a redesign. These pages are used as a marketing tool to monetize reports and get vendors interested in more products available through the SoftwareReviews platform.
Process
Customize the landing page design to meet the audience's needs and preferences.
Create a wireframe before designing a landing page. It outlines layout and content, including headlines, call-to-actions, and forms.
Optimize wireframe for mobile and user experience after approval. Add branding elements.
To succeed, a landing page needs persuasive copy that shows product value, solves pain points, and drives action.
Solution
The back landing pages were designed with the target audience in mind, incorporating elements that aligned with their needs, preferences, and pain points.
The value proposition of the SaaS product was clearly communicated on the landing page, highlighting the key benefits and how it solves the target audience's problems while educating them in the different products they could access.
I enhanced the organization and sharing of information, providing a more strategic and user-friendly experience.
From a design perspective, the primary goals were to emphasize the SoftwareReviews brand, enhance the site's structure, and reduce the prominence of vendor logos.
Outcome
These pages play a crucial role for the sales team at SoftwareReviews, enabling them to leverage the available reports for purchase. With the enhancements now in place, sales representatives have gained more confidence and have been closing more deals. The new design makes their pitches flow more smoothly.
